For those of you who can’t get enough of Tony Horton, here’s a video of him on the Dr. Oz show. I didn’t watch the original airing, but a friend of mine sent me this link. Tony was bit subdued and wasn’t his usual crazy, wacky self. Maybe it was due to Dr. Oz’s audience of middle-aged moms. Wouldn’t want to scare any of these folks from working out! The best part about the show was when Dr. Oz introduced Tony to three women who had been transformed by P90X. I am such a sucker for these “before/after” stories and I enjoy hearing about them a lot. Tony had never met these women before, and it was really touching to see the gratitude they had for the guy for helping to transform their lives. He seemed genuinely happy for them. He did say to one, “hey, look at your girlfriend!” which let me know it was the real Tony and not a mild mannered impersonator.
Pretty much the whole episode was devoted to Tony. Dr. Oz even had a ten-minute section where he, Tony, and the three women worked out to one of Tony’s routines from his 10-Minute Trainer series. The good Dr. held his own and lasted through the entire 10 minutes (but with some mild complaining). If you have about 30 minutes to spare, check out the video below.
