Another dose of motivation to get you ready for an awesome weekend. I’m not into the waif type, or so-called “curvy” women. You ever noticed how some people have to proclaim that they “love their curves” (right before they become a spokesperson for a diet company)? That type of announcement always strikes me as overcompensation or sour grapes. If you really like your body, you wouldn’t feel the need to make such silly statements. Frankly, I don’t know why anyone would like being fat and unhealthy. I know that self-loathing and poor body image are destructive, but I also believe that living under the delusion that you’re perfectly content with being fat is not healthy either. The middle ground is being fit and having a healthy body composition like our hottie below. But guess what, getting to that point is TOUGH so nobody wants to do it.
So the weak people crowd around the two opposite extremes–they either hate themselves and won’t do anything about it, or they pretend they love themselves so that won’t do anything about it. Same difference. These people don’t want to exercise, don’t want to eat healthy, and don’t want to be open to different possibilities in life. And then they blame the world for having created their self hate, or not appreciating who they really are enough.
Get Hot and Healthy with Medicine Ball Pushups
So back to my motivating model. If you look at her arm definition, she is obviously not someone who starves herself. Anyone who works out to her level of fitness does not have poor body image. She can only get this way from feeding herself healthy food and consistent training. She treats her body with the respect that it deserves. This babe is pretty damn strong, because medicine ball pushups requires a lot of upper body and core strength. Hot! Check out my description of P90X2 Core, which has an awesome medicine ball pushup move. My wife’s new favorite expression is Strong is the New Sexy. She walks the walk because she can crank out medicine ball pushups like there’s no tomorrow. I’m a lucky guy, I know.
Make your weekend an awesome one full of fitness opportunities!
